Dear all...I have experienced something interesting with table tennis shoes. I usually wear normal Nike running shoe to the tournament place and change to my Butterfly or Adidas table tennis shoes before the match.
What I realise is sometimes, the shoes has so much grip on the wooden floor or the rubber floor that I my feet just simply stuck to the ground. I wonder has anyone experience that before and if there's any remedy for it. Usually when that happens to me, I just change back to my normal running shoes which has much lesser grip. Your advise is deeply appreciated. Cheers...Browniehubby |

i believe its not your adidas nor your butterfly shoes fault. its most probably the floor surface where youre playing are damn squeeky clean. once i played on a brand new polish finished floor tile and nearly all my shot were inconsistent due to that fact that like you said just simply stuck to the extra clean floor surface....so in your case it is wise to let more dust settled on the floor surface before playing...perhaps a week of dust...who knows maybe you can slide like rafael nadal on the clay court.... |
