It is proved many years ago that thinner and soft topsheet is the best to produce more spin. It is the thin topsheet that benefits player greatly with the plastic balls, I believe. Most china-made rubbers are now equiped with hard-and-thick topsheet, not much effective for playing the new balls. The only thin topsheet I looked up on market is LKT. https://www.zeropong.com/top-sheets-pips-in-c-50/lkt-pro-xp-top-sheet-only-no-sponge-p-243 FRIENDS, Could you please point out some more china-made rubbers with thin-and-subtle topsheet? Thanks. |

PALIO AK-47 is told to have a thin topsheet. Is it true?

I was under the impression the new rasanter series was all about thin topsheets.

Can confirm that Palio AK47 has a very thin topsheet. You can see a clear difference between that and, say, Evolution MS-X, which is supposed to have a 'thin' topsheet.

You already have a source for the thin too sheet. Now you need a high quality sponge. Then you have to attach, which is no trivial matter.
