That was a great match, but I think Persson - Samsonov was better. It was faster, it was also a cliffhanger (4:3 as well), it featured better players, and it was very meaningful because the winner almost surely went to the semifinal (with all respect to Zoran he wouldnt be able to stop Vladi any better than he did Jorgen)

Jim, you might be right, but, the Toriola match featured raw emotion from both players and the crowd participated in a lot of the rallies. It was good drama.

Pretty funny rally from Saive-Toriola match. I thought Samsonov and Persson was a terrible match until the dispute in game 6 then it came alive. Samsonov was so scared and nervous I think, otherwise he would win against Persson...

I was thinking that it would be a nice idea to create several torrents like

preferable organized by folders-levels (64, 42... semis, etc)

I Couldn't find women preliminary matches and some Team matches. Maybe your torrent will be include these.

You are right. Probably the link is dead since noone downloaded the match in ages... MegaUpload erased it after a long period of inactivity, I guess...

I want to let you know guys that if you ever lose track of this or some other thread with lots of video download links, there is no need to use Search - go to Video section, there is now a super-sticky thread called MTTN Video Links, which is organized by years, and you can easily find threads devoted to major events like WTTC, Olympics, ProTour etc.

If you find a MTTN thread that needs to be added there, PM me or theman.

Only thing that is missing now from Beijing men singles is the last set of LI Ching (HKG) vs JANG Song Man (PRK). Uploaded match is not complete, its only detail, but if someone has the whole match, please upload as always :)
