I love the details, its so sad noone posts here, I just take them from all the other forums.
You I was just thinking I wish butterfly would make a blade that had only arylate on one side or zylon for that matter and on the other carbon.

Hey acer what do you think of that grip stuff? How does it affect your grip, feel for the ball, balance of the blade and how often do you change it?

oh well first I am very thankful for you posting my picture! =)
The grip was really a must on the K5 IMO, the handle was very splintering, or you can LIGHTLY seal the blade. I would recommend the wilson grip because of the extreme grip and comfort also price (5$ for 3). Feel remains almost the same, just a difference about 1% if your all about feel. Balance of the blade was terrific, my blade was way too heavy on the head but thanks to the grip it balanced it out. I change it about every month or so while doing intensive training. Overall I highly recommend the wilson grip for all tt players, It has grip, comfort, absorption, cheap, and durability |

I want to put some on my ishlion for balance.
It's designed tennis though right?
I mean, I expect that you buy a roll of the stuff and wrap it around with some final tape. Is that $5 for three rolls.
Or is this a tt specific shape that you just slip over?

designed for tennis. You wrap and cut. The left over you can use again.
One roll call be used for about 2 paddles. Second time just use tape. |

yea I was pretty much the only person gathering here, I got sick of it, quite little response, I wish others would add to this thread because its more useful to see this that to just chit chat about which blade is faster. You can see which is faster when you compare its thicknesses.
Thanks wawa

Try navigating from here Boz.
This website is truely excellent. All the dimensions of the blade are provided which makes it great for comparing blade thickness's etc or in my personal case the thickness of the handle.
I can see that almost all the pictures are of the bottom of the handle of the bat. Can someone please explain to me what I am supposed look for when comparing/analysing the blades. Is it the size or colour of the grains? I would really like to know.
Peace.

but currently this one is on my wish list,
EDIT: bought this one - the most expensive blade Ive ever bought and doesnt suit me. Spin is great, feels awesome in the hand, looks hot, but just too slow for the way I play.

tatapx that is dam excellent. good to see my favorite thread hasnt died!
1. your gergley 21 has got a new school logo on it! dam - I loved the old school, where did you get it? The stock must be starting to run out so they decided to remake a new series. Which grip is it and how heavy is it? The handle looks straighter than mine which is fl.
2. What are the weird geometrical lines above the handle on a couple of your blades?
Again thanks for keeping this thread alive... I have never understood why people don't post on it

Glad that you love it.
1. I bought that 3 years ago here in Japan. That is FL, I am not sure if that looks straighter than yours. will give you a shot that is angled to show the detail of the handle curve. 2. You have a good eyes. Lines are drawn as my guide if I wanted to modify the blades shape. Edit: 1. I forgot the weight, that is around 90. My weight preference is 85 to 90, exception here is Kool. |

My viscaria Light is at my girlfriend's house if anyone wants to post a picture of that for me. I only have a decently high megapixel camera phone...its only 5.0 but great for a phone. I will try to post one but not if it looks terrible.
