I have found the Lining shirt I want (seen in CNT videos): http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/545168732-Genuine-Li-Ning-male-short-sleeved-T-shirt-short-sleeve-T-shirt-AHSF487-1-wholesalers.html

but the seller is asking $46 for a simple Tee !! He can go to hell. I'm willing to put $15 or $20 max

Takkyu

You raised a good point there about "who is Timo Boll".

My parents don't know the sport of Football/Soccer.
But however from seeing fans walking around wearing a Number 10 from Barcelona and a Number 10 from Man U. They don't know the players name though. But do know those replicas are of top players.

Same applies to Rugby, they just remember seeing the players number and name on the back and will know - that guy is the star etc.

Now they maybe remember the surname/family name from the jersey, my parents still doesn't know the first name. But it has already done enough to let them remember for a few years of who these guy might be, and when they have a chance of watching the sport on TV, they will ask me, where is this number 10 etc.

So in a way, I do believe having us fans wearing our favourite players jersey may be useful in growing the sport.

True. But that won't make richer the big companies. I'm sure, that they've tought about all that. If they don't do nothing that's because it's not of their interest. If they think, finally, it is, they probably will make jerseys.

If Zhang Jike wins the Olympics (I hope so for him), having already won the WTTC in 2011, at a young age, he'll become the first TT player in the world ahead of Timo Boll, at least for a few months. Maybe then, they'll try releasing a jersey with his name on. But even if they do, I won't find it in the bigest chain stores in France: Decathlon, Go Sport or Footlocker, I'm sure.

Mizuno sells the Japanese national team shirts, but only at the tournaments themselves (e.g. WTTC, Olympics) not online, though these won't have names on them, but they will have sponsorship stickers and the flag. You will come across real players jerseys from time to time, however I usually see these go for 1000s of RMB. IIRC, butterfly korea does sell the shirts for the Korean National team, however they don't have the flags on them (the old shirts however did used to have the flag on them).

So National authentic shirts:
China - confirm
Japan - confirm
Korea - confirm
Germany?
Sweden?
USA - confirm
rest?

So it may be easy to confirm, but difficult to purchase

Germany national team shirts are not that hard to find, Butterfly started selling them at retail but I think they were limited release.

You can also buy the Danish National Team shirts (Stiga) from the Danish TT Union -  with embroidered patches and printing. These are the shirts that Michael Maze will be wearing at the upcoming Olympics.

Li-Ning is just like any other brand... They are a huge corporation that sells everyday apparel, sports apparel,  sports equipment, and accessories. In china you can easily purchase legitimate li-ning apparel because it is readily available (like nike, fila, adidas is in USA). In china, however, it is difficult to find legitimate nike, adidas ect... Its all about the market you are in.
As far as national/official team apparel is concerned, it is usually supplied to the team. Best to have a connection.

Yeah, that I understand.
Well, I'm about to get a Jeremy Lin Houston jersey.
Once it is out, it is so damn easy for me to get.

I want to get the same shirt that Sandiway got, and I am willing to pay for it, but sadly its not a money thing, there is just no online store that sells (legitimate) them.
I can easily find all the other sports that I enjoy easily, but just not table tennis - sad from a fans point of view

This is not true. In China, at every major mall you can find legitimate Nike, Adidas, Skechers, etc. just like with Li Ning at some sports clothing store.

You can also easily find fake Adidas etc. But you have to go to some special shopping areas for that. Not the major malls.

Borussia dusseldorf sells their own shirts from their fan shop. Chinese club shirts are not that hard to find, however you still have to pay a premium for them (hundreds of dollars in most cases).

Yeah, I think it is not accurate to say it is difficult to find legitimate Nike, Adidas etc.
China is the biggest market in the world, and who doesn't want a piece of this pie?

BTW, China market is how many times bigger than USA? You rather be number 1 in China than number 1 in USA if you know what I mean.

So inside China, either retail or online, is it easy to get legitimate Li Ning CNT TT shirts?

Please could you guys provide links to purchase ligitimate replicas of National team shirts for:

Japan
Korea
Singapore
Germany
etc
I already have USA

I think I will summarise it into the OP so that people can go and buy it if they want

PS, replica is aiming for the identical - with flag, logos etc. So that is first choice, if we can't find then we will just make a note of no flag or logos

I can't comment about whether theirs is authentic.

However, I figure they way overcharge for the Rotterdam collarless t-shirt. I have several of them.
Cost about 160RMB from a specialist pingpong shop (that sells only authentic stuff).

I took another look at my authentic London Olympics limited edition CNT shirt that I got in the Beijing flagship store.

I noticed another couple of differences.
1. The stitching inside the collar is a different color on mine. Theirs is hard to see but presumably red.
2. Inside of the back of the shirt is gold color on mine. Red on theirs.

See below. The model number on the presentation box reads AQCG025-100L, 100 presumably for the 100 limited edition run.

Anyway, hope this helps those purchasing off the internet.

Wow thanks Sandiway.
Yes, I can see the collar, the quality is very good indeed.
I am still jealous of you!!! lol

Eacheng is selling them more expensive than made in Japan Butterfly or Japan national team ones, I think it is outrageious, plus having you personally bought authentic ones before at a fraction of the price.

But yet again, it is difficult to find online stores that sells CNT tops (leaving out ebay, alibaba and all those 100% counterfeit focused stores).
Protto some say is fake
OOAK has a decent top, I think it is authentic
Li Ning webstore has nothing
Eacheng has "authenticable" but very expensive.
Badmintopproshop I think is counterfeit (colour of print and styles from the one CNT wears)

This taobao store sells primary Japanese national team wear, most of it being Ai Fukuhara's personal clothing (I can't even imagine how they got the stuff, but it's evident that the stuff is very real). They also have a few chinese national team jerseys, as well as club jerseys.

In terms of what evident have your heard regarding Taobao?
In other threads, I recall people mentioning Taobao can not be reliable in terms of authentic wears.
I myself have not tried or have any experience with Taobao.

And wow, Taobao really have a big range of Ai Fukuhara personal clothing.

I think even if these counterfeit (if they are) are good quality, I won't mind owning one - simply because - I don't know where to buy originals.........

For you to compare counterfiet vs authentic, you need one of each. Now if it wasn't for Sandiway and his 1 of 100 CNT London shirt, we wouldn't even have the oppurtunity to see the real thing.

I think it's different when you are comparing regular shirts to national team shirts. I doubt it would be physically possible to replicate a lot of this clothing, it just isn't possible. A lot of the "fakes" you see, are cheaply priced, and available to the public already. Copying sponsorship logos and names (if you look around they have two of Chan Kazuhiro's jerseys, a Ma Long jersey, and more) just doesn't seem possible.

As I said before, some national team items are released to the public at special events and special retailers. I have one of the national team practice shirts (has sponsorship logos and "Japan" emblazoned on the back), I also had the opportunity to purchase another national team practice shirt, but someone bought the last one before me.

This is a picture from the Japan Open, here they have the national team jersey's on display at the Mizuno booth.

This was from the Japan Open a year later, once again they have national team shirts hung up, most likely for sale.

That is Xu Hui's jersey from the euro league. I believe it also comes with his shorts.
