I'll make sure i can give you the best input that i can, just from holding the blade it has a medium/hard feel to it, it does not feel much like a carbon blade at all.  If it is like that when i play i am going to be very happy about that.

I have the Mizutani (received it yesterday). It surely looks nice. Considering the price, it has to :). I just glued my rubbers (lightly tuned with CTE)  on it. It seems to have more vibration -just by bouncing the ball) than TBS. I sold TBS because it was much more muted than I like. Tomorrow I'll go to the club and hit with it.

I think that Mizutani is closer to my Stradivarius then Spirit! He looks with more quality then spirit, but I dont know is it better? Tell me guys when you try it is it for close to the table or for mid distance? Maybe is universal for both style of play, but I think that if Butterfly makes this blade for Mizutani, then is for mid distance like BTY Maze.

Ok, I think the Mizutani is slower than the Photino. Control is about the same. Anything else must be thoroughly tested before judging

I think more people are getting the Mizutani because of the name, Mizutani is more recognizeable to people.

BTW, is it only me or any others noticed that the Mizutani's mid ply is made of smthin like 8 slices (see pic) ? Is it a first for BTY blades? I don't know any others.

I was wondering that myself the other night, i would also think it is to reduce the vibration.  How do you guys like your Mizutani blades?

Nah, i don't think it would reduce speed.  It would provide a little less feedback when the player hits the ball.  Me personally i don't like a lot of vibration

HEY GUYS I FOUND SOMETHING HILARIOUS!!

If you have the box in front of you, you'd notice a sign that says not too hit too hard as the fibres are very brittle. LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!

I'm sorry, but it looks like I won't be able to smash with this blade lol

It's slower and has better control than the Photino.

But it feels a little unique, and takes time to get used to. And since it's not officially my blade, I won't be reviewing it extensively sorry.

The amultart was sold out when I ordered so currently there is 2 Muzitani Juns I can play with.

But honestly I wouldn't purchase either of these blades for their price. I just don't see why they are worth $160 or so dollars.

Right now if I'm looking for a truely all-round offense blade I have the andro carbo-aramid, if I'm up for a bit more attacking, I'd just use my wavestone.

I just haven't found a reason to use the photino or the mizutani.
I suppose it's like when the TBS came out, great speed to control ratio, but given the amount of selections we currently have for equipment, it no longer stands out from the crowd.

If it's the same as the Photino, it actually says
"If you overpower on it, it may be broken" which doesn't mean "hit too hard" to me.
I figure the actual meaning is just lost in translation.

I've got mixed feelings on it at the moment. I prefer my TBS. The Photino is different.
