I am a penholder so some of the serveare difficult for me to do with shakehand. I did do one video with both grips and i will try and do both grips later. For this most recent video on how to hide serves, i think the idea is exactly the same for bothgrips so i didn't show shakehand. Anyway, the contact for all the serve are the same for both grips, but i will show both grips for my later videos.

Hey guys,
I've been pretty busy lately and finally has made another video. It's a tutorial of the long and fast down the line serve, a very effective serve to mix into your game and it will win you some easy points. I did show this serve with both penhold and shakehand, so hopefully it will satisfy everyone! Enjoy and let me know what you think!

I have made a pool trickshot video and incorporated ping pong into pool near the end of the video. Check it out!

Very nice. It would also be great if you talk about how to receive/return each of the serves.

I put up a new video discussing a little trick that I use to maintain my rubbers and really significantly prolong the life-span of rubbers. Take a look!

very very impressive of your pool level, which is miles higher than your TT level, but you may have better TT videos than your pool videos?

Thanks. You are right, my pool level is much higher than my TT level. My strong point in TT is my serves, so that's why I'm making serving tutorials and not really other things. :D

Here's another tutorial. This tutorial is for a backspin / topspin serve. It is fairly difficult and requires lots of practice, but it can be very effective in games. Enjoy!

Wow, how did you do the topspin variant? It looks like pure topspin to me with no sidespin! How much spin would you produce? I always thought that double bounce short serve with topspin was impossible without some sort of sidespin component. I've never even seen the pros do a pure topspin double bounce serve....

I have a heavy backspin serve in my arsenal that almost looks exactly like this motion that is pure backspin (no curling to the side), but my only variation with it is no-spin or light underspin, if I could add pure topspin it'll be really nasty for my opponents...LOL

There are two main ways of doing topspin serves. If you check out my Youtube channel, I talk about how to do another short topspin serve in another video, and I think that's the one you are referring to.
In this topspin serve, there is not a lot of spin, but the key is to make your opponent think that it is backspin, and if they do a push return, you will get a high ball and a easy kill. The reason why there is no curve to the side is because the topspin is generated by the racquet moving backwards instead of the usual twisting motion (it's hard to describe in words, but if you watch my other video, I think you'll know what I mean).
Let me know what you think!

Well, topspin serves are to be served with care, i personally dont do it, as it can be easily be smashed/looped(using bh) by a 'good' player.

I would try that sort of motion myself, it'll be a really good addition to my arsenal because my heavy pure backspin serve looks EXACTLY like that. What sort of blade angle are you contacting the ball with, would it be open or closed?

For the backspin serve, my blade is more parallel with the ground, and for the topspin serve the blade is slightly more “vertical”, but I think the exact amount of angle you have on the racquet is something that you need to adjust to your own liking, because everyone does serves differently. Just always try and keep the serves short and low.

@xkaboomx : what i liked about your topspin serves is that the second bounce happens on the table, which is very nice, otherwise it becomes a perfect victim of a nice loop/topspin.
