IMO, It is a well balanced blade. Yes it is good for looping. It really depends on your style too but that is how i think

Rok mentions that it was not as good for him over the table.I thought that the outer Hinoki plies should give it some nice soft feel in the shortgame - what do you think?
2 bad you are not trading... I am selling my Yinhe W-1 and was thinking about getting something instead (a bit more expensive perhaps) to try. Oh well... |

I don't know, Jim, my level is definitely not at Rok's level
But I tried it for few hits, looping and what not and immediately felt that this is it. I don't play way back over the table, mostly close and perhaps 3 -5 feet behind the table at the most and I think this is the perfect blade for me.
I am currently having collections of 1 ply hinokis and feel like home with it..
