What happens if I speed glue a sheet of long pips 1.5 mm rubber on my blade? If I use the speed glue as the glue instead of a non speed glue? I mean, without taking the rubber off, will the rubber "act" like it was glued by normal rubber cement in a few weeks? If I did glue it on with rubber cement, will the long pips sheet be tougher to take off the blade if i want to put an inverted sheet on the blade? Or if I glued the long pips rubber on the blade with speed glue, will the rubber come off easier than with rubber cement? alot of questions, hope you see what i am saying, thnx! |

If you are using just a quick thin layer of speed glue on the rubber, just for mere purposes of sticking it to the blade, you won't get any speed glue effect. It's fine, i do it all the time.
To the second question, rubber cement is fine, you will have no problems taking off the pips to change rubber. All normal TT rubber is is rubber cement with the companies label.
If you are gonna stick it on with speed glue, just don't make the layer to thick and don't give it time to expand(so it will still fit your blade).
