u mean peter sternborg?him and peter sartz [coach of michael maze] r good friends. they live near each other [quoted from english commentator ian marshall from 2005 euro match waldner vs bentsen]
in a 1993 vid of sweden vs china finals, i could've sworn i saw peter sartz in the background of the swedish bench! i think the switch to erik lindh was a very good choice, sternborg didnt do a very good job coaching waldie, persson or karlsson whom are practically double his age lol! i think having ex players as coaches like ul tickan carlsson in the 90s to early 2000 and now erik lindh will be beneficial to the swedish team. an exception was anders thundstrom, [was he a player?] in that period of late 80s to early 90s [89 - 93], sweden really kicked ass. |
