A few questions about the andro treiber series: Does anyone know the differences between the Treiber G, H, K, Q, Z? How are their compositions? What are they supposed to be replacing (if any)? There seems to be very little on our MYTT forums on things andro from my search.
From andro's website, it seems their sponsored players tend to choose Z (for men) and H (for women). Has anyone with experience with these blades have any thoughts on this? ~Thanks

I think the K = Kevlar, and the Z = Zylon. I'm not sure about the others.

Yeah , g is probably glassfiber .
And so on. Z is the priciest. |

I played for a while with Treiber G.. Treiber series has the same Boll wood plies with different composite fibers..
About Treiber G I liked a lot, for me it has q better feeling compared to BTY ALC blades with similar speed and control. I prefer allwood blades but Treiber G is by far the best composite blade I have used. G is Glass fiber with Aluminum, Texalium.

Actually I am also back to all wood blades, but for me the Treiber series is a really good series. Especially the Treiber K has a very good feeling. It is nearly the same composition like Boll ALC, Spirit, Viscaria, ... but a little bit more feeling, more control and less power. A clear Off- blade.
I don`t know, if K = Kevlar (of course this could be possible). My information is, that Treiber K has aramid-carbon, which is extremely similar to arylate-carbon and this fits to my feeling.

Based on some reviews of this blade - looks like this is the newer version of Andro Zylon Kiso Hinoki which was a very highly rated blade

I saw this from a while back.
" these blades looks quite simillar to the Timo Boll series from Butterfly. Treiber K - ALC Treiber H - ZLF Treiber G - ZLC " from ooak forum This looks about right but I think the zlc is likely the z version. No idea about q version. I had the same questions. I do have the treiber z with rasant turbo on both side. "Its awesome" I have a k on order. Hard to compare because I'm still trying to figure out my FH/BH rubbers. I like powergrip and turbo on the forehand but still trying to find a good backhand rubber. Tried rasant beat but too soft for me(my backhand loop has too much arc). In tenergy I like the 05/64 combo. But for 1/2 the price I would like to stick with andro. Any suggestions would be appreciated sorry a little off topic. |

Z has replaced the Zylon Hinoki, but it is a good deal faster, too low throw for me. I also tried H and didn't care for it, couldn't find anything special abouut it

Thank you for the info.
Several Andro blade heads are usually more compact or smaller than I am used to. Good to know that their new blade series come with standard size. Edited by BB-Big - 12/18/2015 at 2:24am |

I played Treiber Z and Treiber K. Treiber K was sold very soon after I got it because it was too flexy for my test. Great control, great for looping but blocking was not so good. I still own Treiber Z. It is very good blade. Fast but with good control. Middle to low throw and the handle is very comfortable as most of the Andro blades. Real hinoki feeling. I do not want to sell it for now because of my EJ dark side :)

There is something strange about the Treiber Z. On the official Andro site and on the websites of many on-line shops in Europe there is a picture of a blade with Koto outer veneers but it seems there is also a print saying Hinoki + Z-fibre... And then there are pictures of a blade with a Hinoki outer veneer. I never had one but I suppose that if there are 2 versions they would play quite differently.

The outer ply is hinoki. I saw may be 4-5 blades and always it was hinoki. Treiber Z it is the successor of Andro Zylon Kiso Hinoki but it is more powerfull. So it doesn't make sense to be koto outer ply.

Yes, you are right. Treiber Z has a Hinoki outer ply.
And some further details:
Treiber G is with glassfiber, Treiber K is with Kevlar Carbon and Treiber Q is made with something similar like Kevlar. The main difference between K and Q is that Q is a bit more stiff and faster. Edited by Bjoern - 12/29/2015 at 5:06am |

Recently bought a Treiber Z and I gave up my TB ALC and Viscaria to buy it and in short, I am very very happy. Was out on vacation and will be starting my practice from tomorrow. Will post a longer review once I get some more game time.

avi3230 - Where can I get one for 5200? Do you have a reliable source in India where I can get one from?
I will definitely be posting the review as soon as I get some game time on it. Also, I mentioned TB ALC and Viscaria to give others the background that I was coming from and not to compare price anyhow. When I say - "give up", I did not mean that I had to sell them to buy this :P

Can't wait to hear it. Please also do share details about your gameplay and ability so we can put the review in context. I'd be interested to hear why you switched since judging by the prices, it wasn't the reason.

Any comparison between Andro Treiber H, and the Donic Waldner World 89 it would be very helpful . Especially the mention of a low reflection is very useful . High throw Waldner 89 is actually what I don't like ,otherwise it be for me almost the perfect blade .
