Disclaimer:
I hated Rasanter

I loved the thick top sheet original, plain Rasant.

I loved the high throw and the monster spin and medium
Sponge of Rasant.

I loved how strong Rasant makes service spin.

Is there a thicker top sheet Evolution that feels and plays similar?

Thanks!

Icontek:   Try both Evolution MX-S and EL-P.  I found these came very close to playing characteristics of the Rasant series rubbers you mentioned. Except the MX-S doesn't last as long

Thank you. My gut instinct was that EL-P would be similar. I was wondering about MX-S though. The original Rasant has a thick topsheet and amazing durability, so the comments about MX-S are a bit of a turnoff :(

Forgot to mention I am a fan of the original Rasant series too - especially the Grip and Powergrip.
Not thrilled about Rasanter series.

Give the MX-S a try, you just might like even though it doesn't last as long. It's performance that counts. Then you might get hooked. This and the EL-P are in your wheelhouse Smile

Stick to Andro.
Hexer powergrip and powergrip sfx are the same as rasant...

I will go the EL-P route. Decided the MX sponge seemed a bit much, so ordered a sheet of EL-S as well.

I didn't know about Hexer powergrip - that looks harder than Rasant - Hexer powergrip SFX looks softer.

Perhaps Andro Hexer Grip (matches the 45 sponge) would be ideal?

I agree with ELS, mxs feels harder.

Maybe Hexer Grip is the best solution. Hardness is 45° and some people said that the Hexer Powergrip/Grip series are more or less the old Rasant.
